Come up with a $$$ value on your programming
For all the code you're writing create some sort of monetary score that is equivalent to how much you're programming is "worth".
How much value in $$$ is the code you're writing worth.
How could the code you're writing "potentially" create more $$$ (figuratively) if you did it "this way" or learned "this language".
This creates a focus on how you can become more "valuable" as a programmer and the 10,000 concept so you have a combination of "value + experience" which could describe your "value/cost/price/etc." as a programmer.
