Hi Ghostface, yes this is definitely planned :)
The first cut will be a widget you can put on your own blog / site.
Fixed :) Machines with same name will now be grouped.
Thanks for reporting that Syntax, I will investigate further and come up with a fix.
Currently it is generating a unique id for each machine based on MAC address, I know this can change if you are using VM's, wifi & ethernet etc I see you have 3 duplicates so that probably rules out switching between wifi and ethernet.
I think I will group results together at the front end as you suggest
Hi Matt,
If it doesn't create the machine_name entry in the settings file you are probably still on an old version.
Try
- Package Control -> Remove package -> codeivate
- From file menu select "Package Settings -> Package Control -> Settings - User"
- Remove the custom github url for Codeivate
- Restart for good luck
- Install Codeivate from package manager.
I tried to implement a script for this but it became pretty hard with all the various windows I had open and different programs doing different things to the buffer. I.e. what happens when you open text editor in bash? how do you tell if user is inactive or process is running like tailing logs? Mite have to leave it in to hard basket until I come up with better idea.
Yeah I had toyed with the idea of having a version control skill or similar and basing it off pull requests. There is quite a bit of overhead I think at the moment getting the permission to access github or getting the developer to enter in a pull url to each repo they work on.
Yeah that is something I have thought about, I just want to come up with a good design for it first.

I have started prototyping this, but sorting by programming language / blackjack table / escort is causing some headaches..
